Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, publishing a LOL on, or otherwise using myLOLs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the platform. If you are using myLOLs on behalf of another person or organization, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.

Eligibility

You may use myLOLs only if you are legally permitted to do so under the laws applicable to you. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the platform complies with applicable laws, regulations, and any age requirements that may apply.

User Content

You are responsible for the LOLs, comments, images, usernames, and other content you submit, publish, or otherwise make available through myLOLs. You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions to submit the content and that your content does not violate these Terms, applicable laws, or the rights of another person or organization.

Content Standards

Content submitted to myLOLs must be truthful to the extent that it is presented as factual, must not intentionally impersonate another person, and must not contain content that violates applicable law or these Terms. You must not use the platform to harass, threaten, exploit, deceive, defraud, or intentionally harm others.

Prohibited Content

You may not publish or distribute content that is illegal, fraudulent, abusive, threatening, harassing, hateful, sexually exploitative, defamatory, or intended to facilitate wrongdoing. You may not upload malware, spam, unauthorized advertisements, or content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other intellectual property or legal rights.

Anonymous Publishing

LOLs may be published anonymously. If you create an account, you may use an anonymous or pen name instead of your real name. However, anonymity on the public platform does not guarantee that information cannot be associated with your activity where disclosure is required by law, necessary to protect the platform or its users, or permitted under our Privacy Policy.

Accounts and Security

Where account registration is available, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for activity conducted through your account. You must not share authentication credentials, attempt to access another user's account, or use another person's identity or credentials without authorization.

Donations

Eligible LOLs may receive donations from users. Receiving or claiming a donation is not guaranteed and may be subject to eligibility requirements, verification, fraud prevention, payment processing, applicable laws, and platform policies. myLOLs may delay, reject, reverse, or restrict a donation or payout when reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, abuse, unauthorized activity, or violations of these Terms.

Claiming LOL Donations

Eligible donations associated with a LOL may be claimed using the unique LOL Claim Code provided to the author when the LOL is published. You are responsible for keeping your Claim Code confidential. myLOLs is not responsible for unauthorized claims resulting from a user voluntarily sharing or losing their Claim Code, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.

Donation Payouts

Authors requesting a payout may be required to provide information necessary to verify eligibility and process the payment. Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers and may be subject to their terms, fees, verification procedures, and applicable legal requirements. myLOLs does not guarantee a particular payment processing time or method.

Content Moderation

myLOLs may use automated systems, human moderators, or third-party services to review LOLs, comments, accounts, and other activity for spam, fraud, abuse, illegal activity, security threats, and violations of these Terms. We may remove, limit, modify, refuse to publish, or restrict access to content or accounts when we reasonably believe action is necessary to protect users, comply with applicable law, or enforce our policies.

Reporting Violations

Users may report LOLs, comments, accounts, or other activity that they believe violates these Terms or applicable law through the reporting or support channels made available by myLOLs. Reports may be reviewed and may result in content removal, account restrictions, or other appropriate action.

Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of original content that you submit to myLOLs. By submitting a LOL or other content, you grant myLOLs a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, format, adapt, and promote that content as reasonably necessary to operate, improve, market, and provide the platform and its services. This license continues for as long as reasonably necessary for these purposes, including where copies may remain in backups or other technical systems after removal.

Copyright Complaints

If you believe content available on myLOLs infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, you may contact our support team with sufficient information to identify the protected work, the allegedly infringing material, and the basis for your claim. We may remove or restrict allegedly infringing content while a complaint is reviewed.

Third-Party Services

myLOLs may use third-party services for authentication, hosting, analytics, advertising, payment processing, security, content moderation, and other platform functions. Your use of third-party services may be subject to the applicable third party's terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the independent practices of third-party providers.

Advertising

myLOLs may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising services, including Google AdSense. Advertisements may be selected, delivered, measured, or personalized using cookies, identifiers, or other technologies as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not necessarily endorse the products, services, or claims contained in third-party advertisements.

External Links

myLOLs may contain links to websites, services, or resources operated by third parties. These links are provided for convenience and do not constitute an endorsement or guarantee of those third-party websites or services. Your use of external services is subject to their own terms and policies.

No Guarantee of Availability

myLOLs is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the platform will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free from harmful components. We may modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the platform at any time.

User-Generated Content Disclaimer

LOLs, comments, and other user-generated content are created and submitted by users and do not necessarily represent the views, opinions, or beliefs of myLOLs. We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or authenticity of user-generated content and are not responsible for decisions made based on such content.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, myLOLs, its operators, affiliates, service providers, and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the platform, user-generated content, donations, third-party services, or inability to access the platform. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless myLOLs, its operators, affiliates, service providers, and representatives from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and reasonable expenses arising from your content, misuse of the platform, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person's rights.

Termination and Restrictions

myLOLs may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the platform or specific features when we reasonably believe a user has violated these Terms, applicable law, or our policies, or when action is necessary to protect the platform, users, or third parties. Where appropriate, we may also remove associated LOLs or other content or restrict participation in donations and other platform programs.

Effect of Termination

If your access to myLOLs is terminated or restricted, provisions that by their nature should continue after termination, including provisions concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, privacy, and dispute-related obligations, will continue to apply.

Privacy

Your use of myLOLs is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how information is collected, used, stored, disclosed, and processed, including information associated with cookies, advertising, third-party services, and donations.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes to myLOLs, our services, applicable laws, or our policies. Updated Terms will be published on this page. Your continued use of the platform after an updated version becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Governing Law

These Terms will be interpreted and applied in accordance with applicable law. Any mandatory rights or protections provided to consumers under the laws applicable to you remain unaffected by these Terms.
